Senokot 7.5 mg Syrup naturally relieve symptoms of occasional constipation. Senokot contains senna, which helps to gently stimulate the bowel muscles.

How to use
The correct individual dose of Senokot Liquid is the smallest required to product a comfortable soft-formed bowel motion.
- Adults, including the elderly and children over 12: One to two 5 ml spoonfuls at night.
- Use under 12 years is under the supervision of a medical practitioner only
- Normally it is sufficient to take this medicinal product up to two or three times a week. Use for more than 1-2 weeks requires medical supervision. If the symptoms persist or worsen during the use of the medicinal product, a doctor or a pharmacist should be consulted.
- If there is no bowel movement after three days, a doctor should be consulted. If laxatives are needed every day or abdominal pain persists, a doctor should be consulted If laxatives are needed every day the cause of the constipation should be investigated. Long-term use of laxatives should be avoided.
- If stimulant laxatives are taken for longer than a brief period of treatment, this may lead to impaired function of the intestine and dependence on laxatives. Active Ingredients
Each 5 ml of Senokot Syrup contains calcium sennosides equivalent to 7.5 mg per 5ml total sennosides (calculated as sennoside B). Ethanol (present in Prune Flavouring) Present in the flavour at a level of 50 %. Equivalent to 6.9 mg/5 ml Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate: 9 mg/5 ml Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate: 2 mg/5 ml Maltitol liquid 1.5 g/ 5 ml.
