Microlax Rectal Solution is a micro-enema used to treat constipation and empty the large bowel. The enema acts as a fast acting laxative by softening hard stools and by its lubricating properties by increasing water content in the stool.

How to use
Who can use Microlax Rectal Solution?
Microlax can be used by adults and children over 3 years of age.
- Twist the seal of the nozzle.
- Squeeze the tube slightly so that a drop of Microlax smears the tip and thus makes insertion easier.
- Insert the nozzle fully into the rectum.
- Squeeze out the contents fully by squeezing the shoulder of the tube.
- Withdraw the nozzle, still squeezing tightly.
- In children under 3 years of age, insert only half the length of the nozzle

If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor before purchasing or using Microlax.
Common side effects.
Some common side effects include diarrhoea, abdominal cramps or pain.

Active Ingredients
Sodium Citrate 450mg per 5ml and Sodium Lauryl Sulphoacetate 45mg per 5ml.
Other ingredients: Sorbitol (E420), Sorbic acid (E200), Glycerol (E422) and Water.
