Who can take Buscopan tablets?
Adults and children over 12 years of age.
How to take Buscopan
Adults and children over 12 years: Take two tablets up to four times each day.
If symptoms do not improve or if they worsen after 2 weeks of treatment a doctor should be consulted.
Do not take Buscopan tablets in any of the following conditions
- Myasthenia gravis (a rare muscle weakness)
- Megacolon (a very enlarged colon)
- Narrow angle glaucoma (an eye condition)
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
