Nasacort Allergy Relief is a nasal spray which is used to treat the symptoms of hayfever and allergic rhinitis from pet and dust mite allergens, even when the symptoms are made worse by smoke and pollution.

Nasacort Allergy Relief prevents and relieves nasal congestion and works quickly to stop sneezing, itchy nose and runny nose and eyes as well as easing pressure around the eyes and nose for up to 24 hours.

Opticrom Allergy Eye Drops contains Sodium Chromoglycate 2% and are used for the relief and treatment of eye allergies including:

• Short and long term allergic conjunctivitis.

• More severe cases of conjunctivitis (vernal kerato conjunctivitis).

• Treatment of allergic reactions such as itchy, watery, red or inflamed eyes and puffy eyelids.

Telfast Allergy Tablets

For adults and children over 12 years old: Take one tablet 120 mg daily with water before a meal.

Warnings

Telfast has very few side effects but

• Can cause some sleep disturbances if taken late at night. • Should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Telfast is not suitable for patients with kidney or liver problems.

Common Side Effects (up to 1 in 10 patients)

Drowsiness, Dizziness, Indigestion, Headache, Tiredness, Nausea.

Nasacort Allergy Spray

The starting dose is 2 sprays in each nostril each day. Once the symptoms of allergy are under control, the dose may be lowered to 1 spray in each nostril each day.

• Before using your nasal spray, blow your nose gently to clear your nostrils.

• Shake the bottle gently before use.

• First time usage: Hold the bottle upright with the spray pointing away from you. Fill the pump spray by pressing the nozzle downwards and press and release 5 times. Do this until a fine spray is produced. The spray is now ready to use.

• Close one nostril with your finger and hold the bottle upright. Insert the nozzle into the opposite nostril as far as is comfortable.

• Breathe in gently through your nose with your mouth closed.

• While you are doing this, press the nozzle to deliver one spray.

• Then breathe out through your nose. Now do the same for the opposite nostril.

• Repeat in both nostrils if necessary.

Opticrom SDU Allergy Eyedrops

Adults and children: One or two drops into each eye up to 4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.

Note: Always read the leaflet before taking this medicine.

Warnings

• Opticrom should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommended by your doctor.

• You may have blurred eyesight straight after using this medicine. If this happens, do not drive or use any tools or machines until you can see clearly.

Common side effects

• Stinging or burning in your eyes or blurring of eyesight. This should only last for a short time and occurs immediately after using the eye drops.

• Mild eye irritation.
