Calpol Sugar-Free Infant Suspension is a strawberry flavoured paracetamol oral suspension and is used for the relief of:

• Fever (Raised temperature).
• Post-immunisation fever.
• Cold & flu symptoms.
• Teething.
• Headache.
• Sore throat.
• Earache.
• Other aches & pains.

Calpol Infant Suspension starts to work on fever in just 15 minutes, it is tough on pain but gentle on tummies. Trusted by parents for over 50 years and is the only general pain and fever relief gentle enough for babies as young as 2 months, weighing more than 4kg and not premature. Each pack comes with an easy dose syringe.

You must be aged over 18 years to purchase this product. Maximum order quantity of one bottle per order. Do not take with any other Paracetamol products. This product is a medicine and can only be sold within Ireland.

• 2-3 months:
• Post Vaccination fever 2.5 ml spoonful.
• Other causes of pain or fever only if they weigh over 4 kg. 2.5 ml spoonful and if necessary a second dose 4-6 hours later. Do not give babies 2-3 months more than two doses.
• 3-6 months: One 2.5 ml spoonful.
• 6-24 months: One 5ml spoonful.
• 2-4 years: One 5ml spoonful and one 2.5 ml spoonful.
• 4-6 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls.
• Leave at Least 4-6 between doses and give no more than 4 doses in a 24-hour period. 

Warnings

• Contains Paracetamol: Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products. 
• Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
• Do not exceed the stated dose. 
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly.
• Wipe the plug and neck clean and rinse and dry the cap before replacing.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
